Artist Statement:
"At 17 years old, I lost all vision in my left eye and as a result experience decreased depth perception. I work off of this limitation and challenge myself to produce energetic, high-contrast imagery with crisp, improvised forms and delicate mark-making. I am fascinated by the endless push and pull between negative and positive space and am constantly seeking to both contort and harmonize this relationship in my work."
